Seed selected for optimum growth.
Every seedling from Project Persimmon is hand selected from excellent rootstock and is destined from the beginning to nourish a heathy grafted tree.

Protected From the Beginning
Tubes & Weed Care
Each seedling planted will be provided with a staked 5 ft. protection tube along with a fiber weed barrier to help the tree establish a heathy root system.

Getting Exactly What You're Looking For
Collected from some of the finest wild native trees in Southern Indiana, Project Persimmon offers 3 varieties of scion wood- early (Sept-Oct), mid (Oct-Nov.) and late variety (Oct-Jan). All three provide large fruits for human consumption, while the late variety holds on to it's fruit up until January (perfect for wildlife plantings).
